Follow our simple procedure to start viewing and buying vehicles from Japanese auctions or from dealers throughout Japan.

Process for buying vehicles with Japan Auto Connect from Japanese auctions and dealers:

1. Register With Japan Auto Connect

Complete the free registration process for unlimited access anytime to all Japanese dealer auctions. You can view all available vehicles to be auctioned weekly simply by registering. Allow up to 24 hours for activation of your account.

 2. Pay Deposit

You can view auctions anytime after registering. However, before we can accept your bid, a small security deposit is required to show your commitment. This is fully refundable at any time. Deposits can be paid through either a bank transfer or PayPal.

3. Search For and Choose Your Vehicle

Search Japanese auctions for the car you desire and enter a bid based on your budget and the average cost of your desired vehicle. You can check statistics using our auction system to see previous costs of similar vehicles or you can ask us for advice. You can search for vehicles according to various criteria, such as model, year, mileage, auction grade, and so on. Free translations are also available upon request.

4. Pay For Your Vehicle

After successfully bidding on a vehicle, you will receive a notification and  invoice through email. Kindly, pay the invoice by the due date.

Your invoice total will include the following costs:

• Price of the vehicle.
• Our FOB fee (export fee): ¥65,000 yen early payment (within 3 days of invoice) or ¥85,000 yen standard payment (by due date).
• Transportation fee to nearest shipping yard for immediate export. This fee is usually approximately ¥10,000 yen. For some auctions, such as those in Hokkaido, it can be higher.
• Shipping fees to the desired port of destination.
• A ¥ 2500 banking fee charged by our bank to receive international fund transfers.
• Note: for vehicles ¥700,000 – ¥1,499,999 yen there is a 2% service surcharge & for vehicles over ¥1,500,000 yen there is a 4% service surcharge.

5. Vehicle Delivery

After we receive payment, all required documentation will quickly be processed and your vehicle will be shipped on the next available vessel.
